Two Cents on Ender's Game

A few days ago, I searched for Sci Fi movies for 2013, specifically Space movies. Ender's Game was among the top of the list. I decided I should watch it even though it seemed "kids" themed... But come on Harrison Ford.

I will not go into technicality and physics since they were 'nice'. The idea of insect species having advanced technology and spaceships has rotten in science fiction and is just stupid. The kid that was chosen to be 'the one' came up with a solution to end the war that even simple-minded-me could think of before it was mentioned in the movie (unless the movie assumes human beings are completely dumb in the future...) I kept watching the movie only to fulfill my joy of space scenes and technology. The movie is written to become a video game. I can't believe Ford and other actors kept praising and bloating that kid's character all along the movie for this obvious solution to end a potential invasion by insects across the galaxy.
